MELINDA GABOURY
Melinda A. Gaboury, with more than 28 years in home care, has over 18 years of executive speaking and educating experience, including extensive day to day interaction with home care and hospice professionals. She routinely conducts Home Care and Hospice Reimbursement Workshops and speaks at state association meetings throughout the country. Melinda has profound experience in Medicare PDGM training, billing, collections, case-mix calculations, chart reviews and due diligence. UPIC, RA, ADR &TPE appeals with all Medicare MACs have become the forefront of Melinda’s current impact on the industry. She is currently serving on the NAHC/HHFMA Advisory Board and Work Group and is Associate Director on the Home Care Association of Florida Board of Directors. Melinda is also the author of the Home Health OASIS Guide toOASIS-D1.

J'NON GRIFFIN
J’non Griffin is a 34 year veteran of home care as an RN. She received her Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration in 2005. She has experience as a field nurse, director and executive with home health and hospice agencies, both large and small. J’non is certified as a Homecare Coding Specialist-Diagnosis (HCS-D), Certified in OASIS competency, COS-C, Certified in Homecare Coding Specialist-Hospice (HCS-H), Home Care Specialist-Compliance (HCS-C) and is an AHIMA approved ICD-10-CM trainer/ambassador. J’non is an accredited ACHC and CHAP consultant. She has presented several webinars, and has been a nationally recognized speaker on a variety of subjects.
CANDYCE SLUSHER
Candyce is a geriatric-focused nurse serving San Antonio since 1995 in multiple settings, specifically PAS since 2004. As a Home Care Consultant my primary goal is to help agencies provide the highest quality care to seniors in their communities through regulatory compliance, creating a culture of accountability, and simplifying work-flow systems. Candyce has been a Master Trainer for the Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers, Co-founder of M.U.S.I.C. Project, a 501C3 organization focusing on implementing Music and Memory™ in regional nursing facilities, Volunteer speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association, Board Member, past President for the Alamo Area Home Care Council and Founder of SLUSHER Consulting.

KIMBERLY MCCORMICK
Kimberly McCormick, RN/BSN, a highly accomplished nurse consultant in the Home Health industry, is Executive Clinical Director for Home Health Strategic Management. Kimberly served as an Associate Consultant with Home Health Strategic Management for 2 years, during which she has established herself as an expert in the area of Utilization Management of Home Health services.

ROSALIND NELSON-GAMBLIN
Rosalind Nelson-Gamblin is with the TX Department of Aging and Disability Services, where she is a Program Manager for the Development of Public Policy in the licensure and regulation of Assisted Living Facilities, Adult Daycare Facilities, and HCSSA Agencies. She has more than 10 years of experience in public rule and policy development in this industry and over twenty years experience in state government.

LAUREN PATRICK
Lauren has had a passion for non-profit work since early in her college career. Lauren has provided marketing and programmatic support services in the sectors of education, social services, and now healthcare. After a time living in Colorado and Virginia, Lauren moved home to Texas and started working in the disability services field and is currently the Director of Development and Marketing at Helping Restore Ability, the largest nonprofit in-home attendant care provider in Texas. Lauren’s work has been recognized in a variety of publications, formats, and venues. Lauren believes in allowing stories to paint a picture and utilizing the mind’s eye to enhance and promote services. Lauren has a passion for generational marketing as well as using digital resources to enhance networking relationships.

JENNIFER PRESCOTT
Jennifer Prescott is the founder of Blue Water Homecare and Hospice and a Registered Nurse. She is responsible for the strategic direction, vision and growth of the fastest growing independent Home care agency in Central Texas.
As a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in nursing and clinical operations, Jennifer is known for compassionate care for the elderly and maximizing operational excellence. She most recently served as Regional Executive Director at Altus Hospice where she increased sales 300% and tripled the average daily census in 2 1/2 years. Before that, Jennifer was Nurse Manager Operations at Duke University Hospital where she managed the daily operations of three ambulatory clinics serving 36,000 patients per year. During her tenure, initiatives Jennifer led resulted in a 75% reduction in fall rates during a six month period. Jennifer began her nursing career learning industry best practices at world class Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Jennifer holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from Duke University specializing in Healthcare Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Delaware. Jennifer proudly serves as an Executive Board Member for Capital Area Parkinson’s Society, and VP of Outreach and Education. She is also on the Executive Board of The Alzheimer's Association Central Texas Chapter. Jennifer is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). She is based in Austin, TX.

DR. TONYA MILLER
Tonya Miller is a national speaker and founder of TYM Coaching. With over 25 years of executive leadership skills and a PhD in Leadership Studies, Tonya combines real-world experience with academic expertise. From coaching front-line healthcare providers to board room negotiations, Tonya uniquely tailors her leadership coaching programs to fit any individual or organization. She’s passionate about personal growth and developing strong leadership cores committed to integrity, accountability, and self-awareness.
Managing a healthy personal and professional life is a priority for Tonya. Blending her love for all things nature and fitness, you’ll often spot Tonya running trail races. Though she’s typically near the back of the running pack, she’ll cross the finish line with a bagful of litter she’s collected along the way. When she’s not outside tidying up her little corner of the planet, Tonya loves to give back to her community. With a passion for volunteerism, Tonya is a founding member and executive director of a nonprofit summer camp for ventilator-dependent children.

SHERRY TEAGUE
Sherry, a native Floridian, is the CFO and co-owner of K&K Health Care Solutions. Sherry has been the driving factor in both her and Dee’s movement from employment to ownership – first with a contract rehabilitation company (Integrity Rehab, Inc.) that provided physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology services to local home health agencies in Marion and Citrus counties, and then into their own home health agency, founded in 2003. In 2009, Sherry was honored with the Marion County Chamber of Commerce “Small Business Person of the Year” Award.
Sherry is dedicated to taking the pain out of continuing education for health care clinicians and administration by leveraging technology and meeting customer needs.
Sherry has a strong sense of community service, as evidenced by her volunteer status as an athletic trainer at Citrus High School for over 13 years, as well as her membership with Rotary International that exemplifies service above self.
Sherry received her athletic training certification from Valdosta State University (GA) in 1989, and her Masters in Exercise and Sport Science degree from the University of Florida in 1991. She completed her A.S. degree at St. Pete Jr. College in St. Petersburg, FL, to become a physical therapist assistant in 1998.

KURT BAUMGARTEL
Executive Vice President, Home-Based Care
Kurt Baumgartel is Executive Vice President of Home-Based Care for Compassus’ care continuum across Home Health, Home Infusion Palliative and Hospice. He joined Compassus in 2020 at a pivotal period of growth for the company as Compassus and Ascension became partners in Ascension at Home. Baumgartel has extensive experience leading home health and hospice organizations gained over more than 20 years in leadership in the health care industry.
Previously Baumgartel was chief operating officer of Evolution Health and Ascension at Home. Before that he held executive positions that include president of Allegheny Health Network’s Home Health and Hospice division, president and chief operating officer of Celtic Healthcare, and president of subsidiary Celtic Living Assistance Services.
Baumgartel is active in several professional associations, has been published in trade periodicals and invited as faculty at professional conferences on various home health care topics. He completed a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of business. He holds a master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, both from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

KRISTEN DUELL
Kristen Duell has over 17 years of experience in the health care at home industry. She started as a non-clinical caretaker, moving up through the ranks and later moving into technology. This technology shift has allowed Kristen to invoke change on a larger scale; by taking her first-hand experience and applying it with scalable solutions. In addition to her direct care experience, Kristen’s wide array of successful leadership positions, including CEO of a technology start-up and many operational, marketing, and sales management roles, is evident every day through her compassion, work ethic, and genuine respect for the healthcare industry. Having returned to KanTime as an EVP, she is thrilled to be leading the charge bringing their powerful Enterprise Solutions to a stronger position in the forefront of the Post Acute Home Healthcare market. When Kristen isn't working, she stays busy with her husband and 4-year old son, volunteering at his school, and mentoring tenacious young professionals.

TAMMY ROSS
Tammy Ross is the Senior Vice President of Professional Services at Axxess, the leading home healthcare technology company. She oversees the professional services division at Axxess with a focus on practical operational solutions for the home health, home care, and hospice sectors of the post-acute care industry using technology. Prior to joining Axxess, Tammy served as an executive consultant at Fazzi and Associates, where she used her years of home health leadership experience to assist clients with clinical and operational strategic planning and development.
